About MedX

MedX connects patients with accredited clinics around the world. You browse the directory, see each clinic’s own published prices, and contact the clinic directly. MedX is an introducer, not a middleman: we are never in the money path on your procedure.

From the founder

I’ve lived in more than thirty countries and visited clinics on four continents. What I kept noticing: many procedures are available for a fraction of home-country prices at clinics that are accredited, experienced, and running the same equipment — and patients who figure this out routinely travel for treatment.

What I also saw: patients misled by middlemen, fake reviews on aggregator sites, and hidden surcharges that doubled a quote between enquiry and arrival. The information gap hurts patients more than anything else.

MedX is my attempt at an honest fix. Every clinic on the directory has been cross-checked against public accreditation and licensing registers. Prices shown on a clinic’s page are the clinic’s own — we never mark them up. MedX takes nothing from patients and nothing on procedures from clinics. Our own revenue comes from the audience side of the site: ads on non-clinic content, travel affiliates, digital products, donations. That keeps our incentives simple — we win only if the information is good enough that you come back.

What MedX is

• A directory and discovery platform — not a medical provider.
• An introducer — we connect you with clinics; any clinical relationship is between you and them.
• Free for patients, and free for clinics to list and edit. MedX does not charge listing fees, subscriptions, or commission on procedures.
• Transparent about information freshness — every price and piece of clinic content must be confirmed with the clinic before you act on it.

What MedX is not

• Not a medical provider — any medical relationship is between you and the clinic.
• Not a travel organiser — flights, hotels, and transport are arranged by you, not bundled by MedX.
• Not a payment processor — the patient pays the clinic directly. MedX never holds procedure money.
• Not a booking agent — MedX forwards your inquiry to the clinic and steps out of the conversation after that.
