  I had surgery in September 2025 and did Smile Pro. The translator was very kind, service amazing. The ladies at my side during the surgery helped me stay calm and relaxed with reassurance. They explained everything well and so far, my eyes are still doing fantastic albeit getting dry easily (i work on a computer and sometimes do my drops a bit late). There were no pricing surprises either. So far, highly recommend.

  My experience at the clinic was AMAZING. The staff was super friendly and I felt super comfortable the entire time. I was able to get a thorough consultation done with a bunch of tests to test the health of my eyes in the morning and get the surgery in the afternoon on the same day. I ended up qualifying for the EVO ICL procedure. The doctor mentioned that it would take about 15-30 minutes per eye, but in reality, it was like 3 minutes per eye because she was so skilled. They let me leave after a 30 minutes recovery time. I did not feel any pain at all and once my eyes stopped being blurry after about an hour, I went about my day and went to get ice cream like I didn’t even get surgery. I highly highly recommend going here! Post operatively, I had questions about the eye drops and I was able to connect with someone via KakaoTalk. John was very helpful and informative. It’s been about 5 months since my surgery and my eyes are better than ever!

  They are great, until you become one of the few with side effects. I came to B&VIIT at the recommendation of 2 friends. I did the Smile Pro last year. It's been a year now, and I wish I hadn't done it. My vision has worsened, and I still need glasses. I now have dry eyes, so I can no longer wear contact lenses. I had my surgery in May 2024 and had subsequent follow up visits the day after and one month after. I even went back in December because my eyesight was not improving over time. The doctor who saw me in December prescribed eye drops based on a study that was limited to B&VIIT only, and the ophthalmologist I saw back in the US got me off of it immediately because it was negatively affecting my vision. I had the most difficult time getting a copy of my records from the clinic due to confusing internal processes and Korean law. But thank you to whoever was manning the English Kakao messaging app; I know he was trying his best. If you're looking to get a medical procedure done in Korea, I'd consider a clinic where the doctor who consulted you is the same doctor who performed your procedure. My consultation doctor, the one performed the surgery, and the doctors who I subsequently met after the surgery were all different and only offered opinions based on notes. Only my translator remained the same.

  Highly recommend! I was initially very anxious about having my first surgery overseas but came based on recommendation from friends/family. I was given very thorough instructions via text (what’s app), email and had all my questions answered months and days leading up to the surgery date. This center is very easy to get to, smooth process and very organized. I highly recommend Dr. Hannuy Choi who is very down to earth, takes her time explaining, and fluent in English. She helped calm my fears and helped me decide on the smile pro. There are translators and coordinators to help with each step of the process. There are also various resources and tips on the postop process. In addition, they are running promotions to help make this an affordable process. Would like to give a special shoutout to Monica who was a translator/coordinator who helped the process.

  I had the pleasure of reaching out to B&VIIT Eye Center in March, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I contacted them, Rosa was incredibly responsive and attentive, addressing all our questions regarding the SMILE surgery with great care. Both my wife and son underwent the SMILE procedure at the center, and they had an amazing experience. The check-in process was smooth, followed by a thorough two-hour eye exam that was well-organized and informative. The technicians were communicative and explained every step of the testing process in English, which made everything clear and comfortable for us. Dr. Seung-min Kim performed the SMILE surgeries on both my wife and son, and I am pleased to report that their recovery time was remarkably swift—just one day! They returned for their check-up the following day, and everything was as expected, with recovery proceeding perfectly. While I didn't get the chance to thank Rosa in person, I want to express my gratitude for her incredible support throughout this journey. The entire staff at B&VIIT Eye Center created a welcoming and reassuring environment, easing any nerves my family had. The results have been life-changing for my wife and son, allowing them to enjoy life without the need for glasses. We are all so grateful for the care they received.
