Shame on this medical facility - do not waste your time if you are a foreigner, you have no voice or rights here. Long story short, inconsistent communication, lack of connection between departments, no transparency in pricing. The business model here is to lure the patient in and the milk them as much as possible. This medical facility has a departament which deals with foreigners, however its speed, quality, and approqch to operations is not at the level that foreigners would find acceptable. I got in contact with the department explicitly stating that I am seeking skin tags / common warts / mole removal, and Leonardo confirmed that the price of the procedure on 25-40 units will cost approximately 120 USD. The appointment has been scheduled, I got a slot assigned to see a dermatologist, there was no choice as to when and what time to come. During the appointment, we were seen by dr Serrato, who, at the time of our visit on January 15th was sick 😷. This "consultation" cost us 80 USD, and we were informed that both warts and a mole can be removed at the next appointment. However, we had to check the pricing again with the budget department. We went to the foreigners department, from there walked to the budget department, where an accountant took a photo of the referral issued by the doctor. Why the doctor could not email it to the other building was unknown to us. We were promised to have the final cost confirmed within 3 business days the latest. When the email was received, new estimation stated 600 USD and was all in Spanish. Upon me texting to Leonardo again, with the request to clarify the situation, more days were requested. It took 4 more days of silence and me following up twice to get a response that estimation is correct. I requested a refund for the initial consultation and was denied. Then I requested to clarify what exactly constitutes 600 USD bill and it occured that it's just a mole, not skin tags. Over a week lost for the team to not even prepare an estimate for both procedures requested! Leonardo informed me he will seek further clarification with budget. We were already 2 weeks past our initial consultation. Regardless of multiple follow ups from my side, I have only received a new estimation just for skin tags at 354 USD. This was 20 min before our scheduled procedure time, which we of course did not show up for.

Amazing service, also for foreigners. They care about you and take your problems seriously. You can ask for a translator to get around in the hospital if you can’t speak spanish. All the doctors spoke really good English!

Don’t go to this hospital, especially not as a foreigner. They just want your Money and they don’t really care about health. I was one week in this hospital, and they did a lot of (unessecary) and expensive examens, but in the end they couldnt really help me. Go somewhere else!!!

Absolute shitshow. Nobody at the ER speaks English. I give them my insurance policy that I am covered worldwide she says I need to have a Health Card. She doesn’t understand that travel insurance not always have that. Makes me wait for unnecessary time. Tells me to contact the insurance, I give her the phone number. She refuses to call. I didn’t come here to discuss, I came here because I feel extremely sick. Consider another hospital, even though this is a private hospital the quality is minimal. It just gets worse, I have been waiting for 6h for a simple bloodtest. DO NOT COME HERE, stay away as far as you can. This is an absolute disaster. They pride themselves with being the best, the doctors don’t even speak English.

Among the best medical centers on the continent. Very proud of the technological advance and human attention achieved. It was an excellent agreement to have become a strategic partner of UniAndes. Very good professionals are trained
