  So I had a med-check here back in 2023 and I thought everything was amazing. I just got here a couple of weeks ago but I forgot my thyroid meds. I emailed them if I can get a script or meds until I go back. Check this out: they informed me I had to make an appointment to see the endocrinologist first for 1500B and the meds would be 10B per pill. I made the appointment. As I walked by a local pharmacy today, I figured I’ll try and see if they sell it. Come to find out, they do sell it for 2.5B per pill. Same pills this hospital would sell me because I received the same back in 2023. I would have paid 2500B instead of 250B. This is unethical practices in my eyes all day long and they should be ashamed for making money this way. SMH!!!!!

The process feels smooth and thoughtfully designed, which makes health checkups — something many people tend to postpone — much easier and less stressful. The doctors are professional and clear in their explanations, and I’ve always felt comfortable discussing results or asking questions. Nurses and staff across departments are generally attentive, polite, and helpful. There’s a sense that people know their roles well, and the workflow is handled with confidence and speed rather than chaos. One thing I truly appreciate is how clean the hospital is. Every area feels well maintained, orderly, and hygienic, which makes a big difference in how safe and calm you feel while being there. Practical details are also a strong point. Parking is convenient and easy, which is not something you can take for granted with hospitals in the city. Inside, there are plenty of good food and beverage options — cafés, restaurants, and quick bites — making it comfortable even if you need to spend a few hours there or are accompanying a family member. Overall, Phra Ram 9 Hospital is not flashy or overpromising — it simply does its job well, consistently. For me, it has become a hospital I trust, one that I return to every year without hesitation. That kind of long-term confidence is something that can’t really be forced — it’s built over time, and this place has earned it.
