I went there because I was having an asthma attack — coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. However, the triage nurse refused to treat me, saying my case wasn’t “urgent enough.” But I have asthma, and at that moment, it was really bad. My experience seeking treatment abroad, especially at this hospital, was terrible. They told me to wait until morning to go to the main hospital for a check-up. But imagine — all the pharmacies were closed, and they still refused to treat me or give me any prescription. It seemed like their doctor was just too lazy to even come check on a patient, leaving it all to the nurse instead. Absolutely ridiculous. I strongly advise anyone with international insurance not to ever go to this hospital.

Unfortunately, my experience with the international clinic was not positive. The staff seemed reluctant to take responsibility, and I didn’t feel they were genuinely focused on supporting patients—let alone going the extra mile to help. I eventually got the information I needed, but only after going to another clinic and speaking directly with a nurse in Korean. If I hadn’t been able to speak Korean, I likely would have walked away with nothing. I’ve had far better experiences at other university hospitals, even those with smaller international clinics. Giving 2 stars solely thanks to a nurse from another clinic who, though not speaking English, still took the time to help me.

Don't go here, trust me. The positive reviews you see are just for image sake. Tried to go here for a specialized surgery (which another doctor from Yonsei recommended to me) and the doctors and the whole department just refused to help me. I asked for a reason why and they just ghosted me. If you don't meet their "criteria" you aren't welcome. Heard they are supposed to be the best but in reality they are far sub par compared to normal western hospitals. Will get my surgery done when I visit home again.

Brought my kid here for a check-up and seen the day after with an English speaking pediatrician. Everything is ok. The doctor is very kind. The staff were also helpful. The only problem is the ultrasound appointment takes 4 months to wait. Otherwise, everything is perfect.
