I underwent a gastric bypass revision surgery at LIMARP on April 23rd, 2025, following my initial gastric sleeve procedure in 2014—both performed by Dr. Pompa. My girlfriend came for gastric bypass surgery from Canada. We were both worried about coming to Tijuana for surgery. And quick from day one everyone was absolutely perfect. I can’t say enough great things about every single person here. Dr. Pompa did her surgery and is world renowned and Veronica stands out as one of the nurses who was absolutely perfect.
I am literally getting ready to be picked up and driven back to San Diego post-surgery. I have only very positive things to say about my entire process. From gathering early information all the way to getting discharge orders from Dr. Pompa, everything has been highly professional, informative, and met or exceeded expectations. From the start of the pre-op diet, about 10 or so days ago, I lost 8lbs, and already, my blood pressure has completely normalized to 120/80. With proper attention to weight management and diet, one less pill to take! If you're considering taking the step to really being an advocate for your own body and mind, just do it. I have the initial post-op diet to comply with, but I trust the process and view this as a journey to a whole new me 😀
They took amazing care of me during my stay and surgery. I would definitely go back. Very attentive. Night and day difference, recommend the all inclusive over anything we have in the states.
