really quality doctors and very sweet staff. I had a horrific case of shoulder bursitis and arrived here at 6:00 AM. I traveled 30 minutes to get here because of the reviews. English is not spoken by everyone BUT they try very hard to communicate. The doctors were truly outstanding. Knowledgeable, kind, personable. I had geoblue travel insurance who covered the visit but Geoblue made a lot of mistakes with paperwork so checking out was long but staff was extremely kind even when I was frustrated with my insurance company. I'd recommend this place and come back anytime,

I see there are a lot of negative reviews here about the hospital. I went today to do a general check up here and pay out of pocket after experiencing headaches and other symptoms (I’m actually currently traveling and don’t live in Mexico City). I have to say this was the most thorough general check up and all the doctors were nice and knowledgeable. I didn’t speak any Spanish and despite the fact my appointment was pretty last minute, they coordinated for translator and messaged me throughout the process. They were really wonderful doctors across the board and really worked with me every step of the way to help me understand what tests are being ran and why. it was truly amazing getting all my tests done in the same day and everyone was sooo kind. I don’t know if you are hesitating on doing your medical tourism here, I highly recommend it as someone who is a total hypochondriac.

If you are a foreigner I would not recommend having a baby here. I loved my gynecologist but the neonatal ward’s policies and procedures were extremely outdated and take away the parent’s agency in caring for their newborn.

I came to the emergency department in a moment of need and had a poor experience. The technology and facilities appear very professional, but the personnel in the emergency department initiated procedures without telling me. I was separated from my significant other and prevented from using the bathroom. They told me at the beginning that they would just be doing radiography, but then they took blood samples and put me on IV saline without explaining things. It was isolating and frustrating. At the end of the day I understand that they were trying to do their best to help me solve my medical issue, but I was disappointed with their communication. When I was discharged, I had a bill to pay of $60K and they told me i had to pay it in that moment. I did not have $60K in my bank account. After a scary and challenging experience in the emergency department I faced an insurmountable financial burden. I negotiated for a while and was able to pay part of the bill to get permission to leave, and next week I will pay the rest. But I was disappointed by a lack of clarity, transparency, and general customer service. Good people helped me and I'm grateful. But the system is organized poorly and I think I will go elsewhere in the future.
