My experience at Acibadem Maslak Hospital in Istanbul has been truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything was well-organized, and I want to express my deepest gratitude to Prof. Dr. İbrahim Bildirici, whose expertise and dedication gave me peace of mind. He took the time to explain every detail and made us feel safe during a very stressful period. I came here due to a high-risk NIPT screening for DiGeorge syndrome, also known as 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. The doctor performed the amniocentesis and ultrasounds in the most professional way and helped make the agonizing waiting period more bearable. Thank God, all the genetic testing from the amniocentesis came back negative, and we had a great anatomy scan at 21 weeks. I just want to let others know that NIPT for microdeletions has a high false-positive rate, and I 100% recommend Dr. İbrahim Bildirici based on my personal experience.

The hospital’s location is modern, clean, and extremely well-equipped, and the environment inspired confidence from the very beginning. The transport arranged by the hospital was punctual and comfortable, which made our trip much easier. They also assisted us with accommodation, helping us stay close to the hospital during the entire treatment process. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. GÜRALP ONUR CEYHAN, whose expertise and dedication gave my mother the best possible care. He took time to explain every detail and made us feel safe during a very stressful period. A special thank you goes to Filiz Selamioğlu, our translator, who supported us far beyond translation. She guided us throughout the process, helped us with countless practical matters, and was always by our side with kindness and patience. I would also like to sincerely thank Emir Kaan Güven, Dr. Ceyhan’s assistant, for his constant support, attention, and professionalism. And finally, I want to thank Magnus, the international coordinator, who connected me with everyone and ensured that every step was smooth, clear, and well managed. There is so much to say. We are currently under medical supervision for my son’s scoliosis, and can only praise the Spine Center under Dr. Alanay’s leadership. Both he and Dr. Caglar are very caring, and knowledgeable. The staff is extremely helpful, and attentive. We especially appreciate the comprehensive approach, as the center coordinates multidisciplinary specialties: physical therapy, thoracic and neurosurgery, bracing, etc. Tais and Gizem are wonderful patient care staff members, arranging for every single detail, answering questions, keeping everything on track. The shuttles to and from the airport, and hotel, are such an incredible service, it makes everything so much easier. The hospital is amazing; it’s new, beautiful, well maintained, with translating services though most of the doctors speak English. As far as Istanbul goes, it is a fantastic city well worth visiting!
Had my annual check up here. They’ve come a loooong way. Place is clean & well maintained. Very systematic and organized. Doctor is proficient in English. Staff are accommodating & helpful even if they don’t all speak in English. Hospital has clear signs in both Turkish & English & a staff will always walk with you if you need to go to a different area of the hospital. Disappointed that the restroom where I was led to give my urine sample was filthy but there were other toilets around that were very clean. Paid street parking and Valet parking available.
